General terms and conditions and cancellation policy

1. After consultation and completed booking you will receive a written booking confirmation from us by mail, fax or email.
2. Any change or cancellation must be made in writing to the office of kmte Heidelberg GmbH and their receipt is confirmed.
3. The rates of the price overview of kmte Heidelberg apply. All prices are subject to the legal value added tax!
4. The maximum group size for regular city and castle tours per guide is 25 persons.
5. Entrance fees are not included in the fee.

For regular city and castle tours:

6. For cancellations between 2 weeks and 5 working days before the agreed date a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
7. For cancellations less than 5 working days before the agreed date, the full agreed fee will be charged.
8. For cancellations of orders of elaborated day programs, a fixed processing fee of 100,- plus 19 % VAT will be charged.
9. If the group is delayed, the tour guide will wait 30 minutes at the agreed meeting point. If the participants do not appear at the agreed date and have not informed the guide, the full fee will be charged.
10. In general: if the group is late and has informed the guide or the tour is extended on site, the additional time will be charged extra! If the guide is booked for another tour immediately afterwards, an individual arrangement must be made.

The following applies to the themed tours (crime and culinary tours):

11. For cancellations of group tours and between 2 weeks and 5 working days before the agreed date, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
12. For cancellations less than 5 working days before the agreed date, the full agreed fee will be charged.
13. For cancellations of voucher registrations less than 5 working days before the booked date, the voucher expires!

For the “Mistery tour”

14. When booking, a deposit of 250,00 € must be paid immediately after confirmation, but no later than 8 days after receiving the invoice.
15. If the down payment is not received in time, the booking expires.
16. For cancellations less than 4 weeks before the booked date, the deposit is not refundable.

For issued vouchers

Vouchers issued by event & eventchen Heidelberg have a validity of 3 years from the date of issue.
Vouchers can be extended for 1 year for a processing fee of 10,00 € after their validity has expired.
Should the price of the voucher have increased since its issue, this increase will be charged.

The following applies to all guided tours:
Tours take place in all weather conditions. If necessary, an alternative can be arranged after individual consultation due to weather conditions.
